Victims of Child Abuse (VOCA)
Referrals
Children may be referred to the program by social services agencies, police, courts, and concerned individuals, including family members.
The process of a referral:
1. provide client or referring party with our contact information: 296-4118
2. call Program Manager (Melissa Cohen) to provide referral information
3. Program Manager then assigns the case to a counselor who will schedule an intake assessment
4. after the intake is complete we determine together (with parents) what the best course of treatment will be.
5. either begin counseling or make a referral to a more appropriate resource.
