Children, Youth & Family Services has been serving our area’s children for 86 years. During the past year alone, our programs reached over 3,000 children in low-income or at-risk families, working to meet their immediate needs and helping those around them to create healthy environments at home, in child care and school, and in the community. CYFS programs address the issues of poverty, abuse and neglect, parenting, child care quality, teen runaways, and early learning, including social and pre-literacy skills. On behalf of the kids and families whose lives are changed because we are here, we ask for your support. We promise to use your dollars wisely to reach children wherever they are – at home, in child care, in school, or on the streets – to open doors to the successful futures that await each one of them. - Establish a Donor Advised Fund at the Charlottesvile Area Community Foundation for the exclusive benefit of CYFS.
